What is your warranty policy?
Due to the personal nature of the engraved items, they cannot be returned.  The handwork on the fashion bracelets are guaranteed against breakage for 90 days after the date you receive the shipment.  If any part of the bracelet breaks from natural wear, kindly return it to us (hold on to the medical alert or expressions tag) within 90 days and we will repair or replace the bracelet.  We just ask that you pay postage for the return.  We recommend using a bubble envelope mailer.

What if the bracelet does not fit?
We will resize the bracelet for you for 30 days after the date of purchase. Kindly return it to us (hold on to the medical alert or expressions tag), with your size requirements and we will resize it.  We just ask that you pay postage for the return.  We recommend using a bubble envelope mailer.

How do I measure my wrist?
Using a tape measure, measure snuggly around your wrist in the area you plan on wearing the bracelet.  Add an inch to the size for comfort and round up to the nearest half inch.  For example, if your wrist measures 5 ¾” snuggly, the bracelet size would be 7”.

What font size is used for the engraving?
The font size of the personalization is determined by the engraver taking into consideration the amount of engraving and size of the piece.

What types of metal are the bracelets made from?
Fashion bracelets: the tags are stainless steal, the clasps are sterling silver and the wire used is coated stainless steel.  Cuff bracelets are aluminum.

What should I engrave on the medical alert bracelets?
Remember that the bracelet should speak for you when you are not able. Some people do not like to place personal information on there but your name would help paramedics.  To find out what to list for your medical condition(s), we recommend you ask your doctor or physician for advice.  If you have a number of medical conditions to list, it is recommended to use abbreviations.  Your doctor should be able to tell you the most common abbreviations for your condition(s).  In addition, some people indicate who to call in an emergency (ICE) and number.  You can also list your medications.

What should I engrave on the expressions bracelets and gift items?
You can place a person’s name, an event, an inspiration or add a sentiment that you like.  Some common expressions used today include:

I have a Medical QR code, can I have that placed on the medical alert accessories?
Yes, it can be engraved on the bracelets and on the medical alert wallet card.  You can upload the code itself, or take a clear picture of it and upload the picture.

How can I pay for my purchase?
We accept most major credit cards and PayPal.

Do I have to pay sales tax?
Personalized Engraving, LLC is a New York-based business.  Any purchases made by a resident of New York will be charged sales tax based on the rate of his/her region.

When will my item ship?
Since the items are handmade, we ship within three to five calendar days. Please note that since the COVID-19 pandemic, there sometimes is a delay in delivery time.

Do you have retail store?
No, we are an online store and do not have a physical store or pick-up location.
